VEDIC ASTROLOGY

                             Astrology sees mankind  as being not only influenced by hereditary factors and the environment,but also by the state of our solar system at the moment of  birth.The planet are regarded as the basic life-forces,the tools we live by a well as the basis of our very substance.these planetary forces take on different forms,depending on their zodiacal position and on the way they relate to one another.The  aspects formed between the planets describe these relationships,the positions on the planets in relation to the place of birth tell us of their expression in the spheres of life depicted by the astrological houses.By interpreting the roles of these planets and their qualities(the elements,signs and houses) and creating a synthesis,astrology is able to present a complete and comprehensive picture of the person and his potential,based on the natal horoscope.   

                  There are in the heavens several bodies which appear to shed their light directly on this Earth; and also some others which,having no lights of themselves,serve to reflect that of the surya,and thereby become visible to our organs of sight.The former are termed Sthira  Nakshatra(Fixed Stars),because they appear to retain the same situation or to be fixed in the same place;but the later,being observed to wander,are termed Planets.The number and distance of the stars are so extensive.In this chapter we study the origin and development of Indian and world astrology.This chapter also dealt with the famous astronomers of world and sages and insighters of our great Indian astrologers as well as their work for the development of astrology.  
                Planets are the relay station for the reception and transmission of the energy from the Zodiac.All of us are made up of different combinations and degrees of the energies of the planets.Each of us is stamped with a unique planetary energy pattern,which became part of us by way of our first breath after the birth.This breath also carries with it the energy with it (known as prana in india),which creates permanent impression on us which lasts for the whole 
      

life.Every planet has its own magnetic field and hence together they form a complex energy pattern at the time of birth,which is recorded as our horoscope.

   Hence the planet reside in our conscious and  unconscious,receiving the cosmic energy like an antenna.This creates  our attitude towards the events happening around us.Our responses,even though controlled by planets,still depend on our level of awareness,from which you operate.Hence,though you operate within our destiny,you still remain masters of how far our destiny is gong to unfold.Awakening of  Lord Shiva within  our  heart and  mind(transforming the unconscious into conscious) can help us gain the mastery over the planets and hence over our destiny
